Brilliant York and Selby

I don't write reviews but feel compelled to do so in this instance. Jade, Peter and all the team in York are exceptional. Nothing too much trouble for them to resolve and always done in a can do manner and so very helpful. There was a misfortune where a door was delivered damaged and, due to timeframes, I went to Selby to collect a replacement and they were so good and friendly there also. What an utter pleasure dealing with Howdens and what an amazing work culture and ethic. It is so refreshing to deal with a very customer focused business. Thankyou so much Howdens, kitchen looks utterly amazing!

very easy to deal with and great customer service, only thing is a few more discounts to trade guys there and then to stop them pre buying the general gear off internet for cheaper to stock up is my thoughts

Our kitchen was in a desperate need of replacing. We had a few ideas of what we did and did not want. Dani from Howdens Kitchens, James Street, York was so knowledgeable and came up with some ideas we hadn't even thought of, she made the experience a very pleasurable one. She took time to listen to us, show us all the different materials/colours. We are very pleased with the end result. She kept in contact through the whole process, even after the kitchen was complete. A very professional lady to deal with. Would definitely recommend this store to anyone wishing to design/instal a new kitchen.

Great choice, quality and service!

From walking into the showroom the staff were so friendly, Brooke in particular was really helpful with design and making sure I knew all the options available as I wasn’t sure quite what I wanted. I had a couple of appointments with her to get it right and then when the extension turned out a different size from the plan, Brooke came out and helped me adjust the plan without spoiling the design. Loved the colour and quality of the units and all the extra features to make the best of the corner unit space. When the kitchen was fitted there was some units over that needed returning to the showroom and the counter staff refunded the cost there and then, no fuss. Would definitely recommend Howdens.

York branch review : An excellent experience from start to finish . It took weeks of thought and changing bits here and there but Brooke at the York branch was patient and understanding and considerate in the fact that choosing a kitchen is a huge commitment and doesn’t need to be rushed. I can honestly say that we were well looked after at Howdens york and will be returning for bedroom furniture in the new year as the whole process was friendly but professional and we felt we were in Safe hands ! Our kitchen looks amazing, I actually cannot believe it’s mine , I love it .

Fantastic service

We could not recommend Brooke at James Street highly enough. From our first meeting she has been so friendly, professional and helpful as well as having the patience of a saint. Nothing is too much trouble for her. Thanks Brooke and the whole Howdens team.
