I had cause to visit the depot recently…

I had cause to visit the depot recently ref a warranty issue on some Jigtech door latches that had failed. At the trade counter I was greeted by Ellie and she asked how she could help. After explaining my questions and queries she asked me to wait a little while why she could find out what could be done. She came back with the news that they were sorry that the items had failed but they could be exchanged FOC under the guarantee / warranty. As I had bought them as part of a full handle set I was told the best process would be to buy two new sets to replace the old faulty ones, and once fitted return the old ones to the depot for a full refund which I agreed to do. I am just arranging a convenient time with the customer to swap them over. I would have rated a 5 star but held back until I return the defective items and get my full credit. Just like to add that Ellie was very good to deal with and was very helpful and polite. I’ve always found Howdens and the Redcar branch to be very friendly and helpful so will use them for as long as I’m able.

Help and advice when needed.

I knew what I wanted but dismayed when told it was no longer available. No worry, I was advised of a suitable alternative which was virtually a perfect match. Did deal and within 10 minutes from entering building I was on the way to complete the job. Many thanks.
