Was not told there is a delivery charge

Asked for delivery of items and paid up front Was not told of delivery charge Telephoned on day for time but was told not down for delivery Charged £48.00 for 3 miles ?? If known I would of picked up items in my van Most building merchants don’t charge if spend certain amount
