Poor quality - avoid Howdens at all costs

Kitchen is a real disappointment with doors, hinges and handles all appearing cheap and flimsy. Howdens (Maidstone) put on a big act when we went in to the store telling you how great our kitchen fitter was. However, you have to understand that to them the kitchen fitter is the customer not you. When it turned out that kitchen fitter had financial problems Howdens confirmed (all too late) that they would not give him credit as they were aware of this and they had also received complaints about him from other members of the public. Howdens did find another kitchen fitter ( a good one this time) to finish the job but we were left substantially out of pocket.

My sales rep (David- Maidstone)

My sales rep (David- Maidstone), was nothing less than exceptional. I must have changed my mind about 35 times, he has the patience of a saint! He is also very genuine, professional and knowledgeable. For me it’s one thing to sell you a product or kitchen in this case, but after sales is what’s key, when things go wrong and they already have your money! I had an issue with a damaged cupboard and within days the new one arrived. Sorted with no fuss. Thank you again David :-)

Miss sold kitchen appliances by…

Miss sold kitchen appliances by howdens, within 3 months, a rubber seal on oven door replaced, and pump in washing machine replaced, next month the oven was replaced, the extractor hood is noisy, and tube kinked, so makes more noise the supposed too, water inside oven when cooking, condensation inside and outside microwave, when in use, bearings on washing machine is noisy.. The washing machine door now doesnt close since howdens engineers repaired my washing machine.. I asked for replacements all of products, howdens refused as they said they were repaired.. Lololol but thats thier policy and thier engineers. Pathetic!! Extremely poor customer service i definitely would not recommend buying anything from Howdens.

The part I ordered didn’t turn up
