Very poor service from the start

Unfortunately have had nothing but extremely poor service from Howdens Kenley from the start of our project. After finalising a design that was massively delayed by staff turnover, lack of experience and incorrectly measuring the project space leading to multiple iterations and weeks of back forth with delays in communication. After the design was finally finalised Howdens then informed us that the agreed design was then at a much higher price point, having never been mentioned at any point prior to that. After that Howdens then said we had to order within a certain date to obtain the best price, but could not tell us what the price would be. It seems they only said this to hit some target internally. After all design issues Howdens then still asked us for measurements, despite them having carried out the measurements themselves. This further added costly delays to the project due to more back and forth with the building team doing the week. When the kitchen was delivered there were numerous items that were either damaged or incorrect altogether, to date Howdens have repeatedly ignored our communication attempts to resolve the issues at hand. On multiple occasions when we called the Kenley branch we would be told we'd be called right back only for days/weeks to go with no response again. The poor service from Howdens Kenley has caused our project to be significantly delayed and cost more than it should have.

Gave good advice on choice of cabinet…

Gave good advice on choice of particular cabinet and fixing type and took trouble to show me cabinet . Not in stock but ordered and suggested pick up cabinet from S Croydon branch to allow installation to be done whilst waiting for door.

A great fresh start

Just re-opened my account with Howdens, this time at Kenley branch. What a breath of fresh air !!! My last branch was a struggle and unhelpful, hence why I stopped spending there. Great kitchens and pricing competitive. Staff are helpful and quick to resolve any issues. I use Howdens Kenley regularly for both my customer's properties and my own.
