Avoid - Poor Customer Service

If using the Hull branch, try to avoid dealing with Paul Caroll.. We found him rude and unprofessional with a very defensive attitude. We therefor requested for the project to be handed to a different member of staff. Paul was very slap dash resulting in him miss-informing us and causing issues by selling the wrong appliances for our selections leading to confusion and further communication issues, never offered an apology and found one of his emails appalling.. Also Howdens ‘recommended fitter’ Roger, threw his toys out the pram when I sent ONE email politely asking for his fitting advice to check we don’t purchase the wrong appliance, a fitter I was supposed to pay thousands of pounds thinks he shouldn’t have to provide any help/communication to his customers and can just rock up on the day, appalling attitude to business. Looking back he was very negative about the whole job, made out the simplest of things were going to be really hard.. There are polite members of the team at Howdens Hull however these really let the side down and unfortunately I got stuck with them.. Howdens didn’t deserve our money due to our experience therefor we decided to choose the kitchen we had selected from their competitor (who my wife originally wanted to go with) and requested a refund. Far better customer service, professional and much friendlier.
