Highly disappointing HOWDENS BRADFORD

I recently visited Howdens Joinery in Bradford to get started with a Kitchen I was seen by a young asian girl who was very helpful but as i was walking out I was disappointed by the unprofessional behaviour I overheard. The conversation the older asian man who also works there had with her was not what I expected in a professional setting. I won’t go into the details of what was said as it just disgusts me and was highly in appropriate and judging by what I heard of her reaction she was highly uncomfortable with the sexual comment being made. Due to this I will not be returning to Howdens. This kind of behavior makes the whole place look bad and makes you wonder about the company's values. Howdens needs to make sure everyone acts respectfully. I hope Howdens fixes this to keep a good environment for workers and customers.

So this was the first time I have used…

So this was the first time I have used Howden and I can't see myself going elsewhere anymore. This is because: 1. Price - I looked and compared extensively and this was much more competitive. 2. Service - Matthew and Abu is who I dealt with. The design work and understanding our needs was fantastic. We are a family of 6, and the ideas generated by them we had no clue about. 3. Options - every possible range and much better price then I anticipated. 4. After care - excellent, excellent, excellent and excellent. Also, the delivery company they used, absolutely brilliant team. Friendly and efficient.

A Mixed Bag

A really mixed experience, I suppose it is just like any business and it depends on who you get. My first meet was with an older gentleman, name starts with a W, who was very unhelpful and there was real passive aggression there. However, I left and returned another day and was seen by a very helpful younger lady who redeemed the whole experience. Howdens needs to be careful about who they recruit! I'm not sure of the actual date I visited, it was late July or early August!

When ordering from howdens .the girls at cemetery road are always so helpful and friendly .

When ordering from howdens . The girls Jerry and shyrell are always great . They are both so good at finding what we need and getting back to us with the best products .🤗

Good morning re telephone call !!!!

Good morning Following on from my previous review over the weekend , you replied to say that someone would follow up from my review and be in touch . Yesterday I was called by the manager of howdens cemetery road . He was supposed to be calling me to put things right !!!!. After the telephone conversation that was heated on both sides I had to put the phone down on him as he had no customer service skills what so ever !!!! He basically called me a liar in so many words regarding what he had said on our previous phone call regarding a staff member not been at work !. I speak to these staff members weekly and they are all very helpful so I know who they all are . He did not try to apologize what so ever or even try to make the situation better I was very angry to say the least !!!!. We use howdens often and we like to bring our business to local suppliers after this recent call I am seriously considering taking my business elsewhere !!!. If someone is going to be contacting me regards to my review please make sure it is not that manager as he as no customer service skills what so ever and only basically argued over the phone with me . The main reason for going to Howdens on…is the staff

The main reason for going to Howdens on Cemetery Road is the staff, most polite and humble people I've ever met working for an organisation. Hats off to you all well done.
