I have dealt with Howdens through my small company for approximately four years, however last year without my consent or knowledge Kate and Charlie(ex branch manager) from Battersea branch let a client who i was only fitting a kitchen for put £7000 on my account(without my knowledge or permission)the account limit wa was only 5000??? I have told them and lots of people at Howden some multiple interactions the situation this was done without my permission by Kate and Charlie (now at Wimbledon branch )that this is nothing to do with me and a quality issue with the person who bought the kitchen and pain direct the other £13000 odd pounds for it. Howdens have knocked off various amounts but the account still stands at £3700. And they have told me two days running I will not take any more off despite it being nothing to do with meThey know they are wrong but have made a mistake and Howdens refuse to correct it . Since then I was diagnosed with stage three cancer 5 months ago I have had radical surgery and am having Radiotherapy I’ve had dozens of calls and emails from Howdens demanding money, they just ignore what I’m saying verbally and by email they even got a letter from the client who bought the kitchen directly from them saying it was nothing to do with me and the dispute is with her, however Howdens harass me on an almost daily basis for the money. This has been very detrimental to my mental and physical health as far as it has almost given me suicidal thoughts and my company to the brink of collapse as I cannot sleep, strangely worrying about this more than my cancer. if I survive this cancer I will be taking legal action against them. In the meantime I will spread the story on other forms of social media. Please be aware of Howdens. They are not the nice company that appear to be. please be aware if you are suffering from cancer or the diminished state, I think Howdens actually use this to bully you further, I’ve explained multiple times and they still keep calling. They are a disgrace..

Excellent Service
Howden’s customer service has been excellent. The designer came out several times sometimes at short notice and nothing was too much trouble. The kitchen was delivered promptly and is awaiting installation

Perfect delivery, as usual
Howdens have long been my ‘go to’ supplier for kitchens. Order process in store easy and efficient. This delivery was a replacement fridge freeze. Perfect delivery as arranged and very helpful driver who helped bring it inside my building. Thank you. Purchase is perfect for my tenant’s needs.

Great worktop install experience

Great kit, but make sure you get the right fitter
Howdens do great kit at a great price, really good value and we are delighted with the outcome. However there are a number of things to watch out for. Our salesman was Julian Good, who was very affable and responsive during the whole sale process. That said, his design solutions were not as imaginative as the other company we asked to quote, and on several occasions we prompted Julian to use these alternative solutions. It turned out that had left out one feature in the design and one part of his design would not physically fit. Howdens only supply the kit and suggest an independent fitter. Julian recommended Thomas Dove, reviewed elsewhere, who turned out to be a prince among builders. This was just as well, because once the sale had been made, Julian become a lot less responsive and it was left to Thomas to sort out the design issues above. One other, minor, glitch was that a couple of items were included which were not needed and it took weeks to get these swapped for some extra shelving. Shout out to Ryan in the warehouse for managing to attach a much larger box than I had expected to my bike.

Battersea Julian Howdens superstar !
Julian from Howdens joinery is a real superstar. Nothing was too much trouble for Julian. He went over and above on both customer service and his attitude he was always smiling, friendly, warm, approachable, professional, and diligent. The Howden kitchen we bought was due to Julian his soft manner, made him approachableand trustworthy and we have not been let down from start to finish. Julian has gone out of his way. Every time we’ve asked anything of him he is a true professional.

Terrible experience
How can you design a kitchen and not include the oven?? Despite replying to their email with several questions, no reply. It took our builder to chase the Battersea branch up fir someone to eventually reply to us. There reply was an estimate, why do we need two microwaves, we were never asked or asked for them! None of our questions answered. We have cancelled our appointment and will find another company.
